Gaia Online is a virtual hangout

for the most part, anime-based, so
if you dont like the “cute” avatars
and games you may as well find
something else.
Gaia is child friendly and provides
a nice, fun, social enviornment
suitable for ages 13+. It has
several contests that users can
participate in such as poetry and
art, and even if you have spent alot
of time working on your profile page
you may get awarded for that as
well.
Gaia Online also allows parents to
see exactly what is going on in the
site by having a page that explains
what everything in the site is
about. Of course the parents can
also make their own account if they
so wish, which I’m sure many have
